I’m reblogging this because its un-fucking-true…you have to run at like 6mph for about 10 minutes to burn 100 calories….compare that to any one of those things.

That’s not correct ether. How many calories you “burn” depends on how much you weigh, your gender, your muscle mass, and the chemistry of your body. One person might consume 100 calories running at a medium pace for 5 minutes, others might consume 200. It all depends on your body. 
Still, the idea of measuring exercise to off set the food you eat to lose weight is a bad way to think about it. It’s never good to think, “Oh, I ate a cheeseburger today, I’m going to run two extra miles.”. If I’m interested in dieting and specifically losing weight, I always just do a few things. 
Count every bit of food you put in your body on a calorie counter.
Work out (Cardio) on a regular basis, for at least 20 minutes for each session.
Drink fuck-tons of water.
